Man nabbed in Southern Leyte for devouring lost goat’s innards

Police arrested a man after he devoured the entrails of a goat in Sogod, Southern Leyte.

A report on Unang Balita, citing a police report, said the owner was looking for his lost goat when he saw the suspect eating its raw innards.

The owner immediately sought the help of barangay officials, who subsequently turned over the suspect to the police.

The report said that during the police's investigation, they found out that the suspect was suffering from a mental disorder.

Investigators said that the suspect stole the goat and slaughtered it with a machete before consuming the animals' innards.
