Mapua grad tops list of 2,245 passers in Civil Engineer Licensure Exam
A graduate from the Mapua Institute of Technology topped the 2,245 examinees who passed the recent Civil Engineer Licensure Exam, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday.

Luvincci del Rosario Tan, who scored 93.70, was one of the three Mapua graduates in the Top 10. The others were Glenn Michael Ong Quiachon (4th, 91.60), and Daryl Paul Balita De La Rosa (10th, 90.05).
The Top 10 list, however, was dominated by graduates from FEU-Institute of Technology, led by Christian Espirite Baldo, who was at second place with 93.25; Rei Kevin Catantan Tungcab (3rd, 91.70); Jamiel Dakis Galimba (7th, 90.90); and Arnold Jacinto Cabatian (9th, 90.45).
The Top 10 list was completed by Niño Louis Steven Abellana Nemenzo of University of San Carlos (5th, 91.35); Marc Erick Von Agbayani Tiosing of PUP-Sta Mesa (6th, 91.15); Rhea Leane Bukiron Patalinjug of University of San Carlos (7th, 90.90); and Edmond Intac Rocamora of UP Los Baños (8th, 90.75).
The PRC said registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. The passers are encouraged to visit PRC's website for the instructions.
According to the PRC, 5,882 took the examination given in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban and Zamboanga cities earlier this month.
The result of examination with respect to one examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination, the PRC said. —KBK, GMA News
