Laguna’s No. 3 drug suspect nabbed in Cabuyao school

The PNP's Public Safety Battalion on early Thursday morning swooped down on a school compound in Cabuyao, Laguna to arrest one of the top drug pushers in the province, Emil Sumangil has reported on "24 Oras."

Joselito Batayon was nabbed in a raid at his residence, that happened to be inside the school that his family owns.

According to the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Batayon is No. 3 in Laguna's list of personalities allegedly involved in illegal drugs.

The raiding team also seized methamphethamine hydrochloride worth no less than P20,000, unlicensed guns, a weighing scale and other drug paraphernalia.

Batayon told GMA News that he was willing to cooperate with the police in its pursuit of drug lords. —NB, GMA News
