Inday Sara: If you don't like the Lolo, don't take it out on triplets
Davao City Mayor Sara "Inday" Duterte took to social media on Saturday to respond to a comment that her pregnancy is meant to draw positive press attention to her father, President Rodrigo Duterte.
Forensic pathologist Dr. Raquel Fortun, had tweeted that it's "too early to rejoice" about having triplets.
Fortun added, "Wait for delivery and spare oneself from heartache. PR for Lolo?"

In response, Duterte called Fortun "Miss Bittermelon" and explained that she is doing what is required of her as a public official.

"Ah yes PR pero bago ka mag tweet basahin mo muna yung PR ng hindi ka magmukhang dugyot na ampalaya. Please take note, that public officials need to explain their absence in important events," Duterte said.
She added, "And when I do get the heartache, it will still be a media blitz and when we defy the odds it will be a PR fiesta and you will still be Miss Bittermelon."
In the Visayan language, the mayor said Fortun was cursing the unborn triplets because she doesn't like their grandfather.
"Problema sa imuha Miss kay di ka ganahan sa Lolo manunglo ka sa mga gisabak, 3 baya ni, buot pasabot ang gaba ani katulohon pud," Duterte wrote.
"Turn off your Twitter, do your work, mind your own business and spare yourself the heartache," the mayor wrote.
GMA News Online tried to reach Fortun for comment but she has yet to respond as of posting time.
On Twitter, Fortun clarified that she does not doubt the mayor's pregnancy, adding that she experienced two miscarriages herself.

Duterte announced the complicated pregnancy on Friday, excusing herself from the merrymaking at the Kadayawan Festival.
"We are expecting triplets and they are doing well on their 7th week. The human body is made to carry just one baby and I am experiencing threefold all the pregnancy symptoms that a woman goes through," she said.
The Palace, meanwhile, said the unborn triplets are a source of inspiration for the president. — VVP, GMA News
