Duterte vows to give Scout Rangers a Glock 30 pistol each

SAN MIGUEL, Bulacan — Third time's the charm for the scout rangers in Camp Tecson in Bulacan...

President Rodrigo Duterte has already cancelled his visit to Camp Tecson twice.

The first one was because he failed to catch the sunset for the chopper ride. The last one was due to bad weather.

In his speech on Thursday, Duterte reiterated his commitment to give soldiers what they need and repeated that their pay will be doubled by December.

He also promised to give the Scout Rangers in Camp Tecson a Glock 30 pistol each. 

"Because you are good boys, trained well, and showed before me talagang ano ang scout ranger. Just give me time, I'll order them. I'll give each one of you… Bigyan ko kayo Glock 30 caliber 45. Kailangan iyan sa giyera," the President said.

He added that the Glock 30 will be delivered within the month.

Duterte has also given soldiers wounded in action a Glock 30 each last August 30. — VVP, GMA News
