PNP personnel to receive 14th month, bonus by Nov 18
The 180,000 personnel of the Philippine National Police will receive their 14th month pay, P5,000 productivity enhancement incentive and P5,000 cash gift by November 18.
Chief Supt. Lurimer Detran, deputy director for comptrollership, said it would be the second year that PNP personnel both uniformed and non-uniformed will be receiving a 14th month pay.
“Maraming masaya sa atin ngayon. Last year lang nag-start yung pagbibigay ng 14th month,” he said in a press conference Friday.
He said 14th month will be given to the personnel depending on their rank.
“Our fund requirement for the 14th month pay alone covers the amount of P3.4 billion and the timeline for the release of these will be on the 18th of November, this year. I-expect na natin, yung ating mga PNP personnel can expect na by the 18th it will be credited to your respective account,” he said.
He said their total fund for bonuses and requirements is P6.8 billion.
He noted that a policeman with a rank of PO1 and has a basic pay of P14,834 will receive P24,834 as his yearend bonus.
“Malaking bagay po ito para sa mga personnel natin,” Detran said.
Meanwhile, PNP chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa, who receives a basic pay of P67,000, will be getting P77,500 as yearend bonus. —KBK, GMA News
