Robredo thanks Duterte for reassurance that she’ll stay as VP until end of term

Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday thanked President Rodrigo Duterte for the assurance that there "is no such thing" as a plot to unseat her.

Robredo was at a live sit-down with a media organization when Duterte made the pronouncement at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Bicol International Airport Terminal. 

Asked for comment, the Vice President—who hails from Naga City—responded: "Maraming salamat."

"I would like to see it as a reassurance," she said, then joked. "Sana hindi lang sa Bicol sabihin, but all over the country." —KG, GMA News
