More than 1,500 pass UPCAT 2017


More than 1,500 individuals successfully hurdled the the 2017 University of the Philippines College  Admission Test (UPCAT).

The results, which were released on Tuesday, showed that 1,591 passed the entrance examinations that were administered in nine test centers in various parts of the country on Sept. 18, 2016.

The UPCAT consists of 4 subtests: Language Proficiency (English and Filipino), Science, Math and Reading Comprehension (English and Filipino).

The test is part of the admission requirements of UP, which is administered to graduates of Philippine and foreign high schools. — BAP, GMA News
