Korean mafia tackled as Senate resumes probe on Jee Ick Joo slay
Whether or not a Korean mafia was involved in the killing of South Korean businessman Jee Ick Joo was tackled on Thursday upon the resumption of the Senate investigation on Jee's killing. While both the NBI and the police doubted the link of a Korean organized crime group to the case, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II bared that Jee had been kidnapped twice by the Korean mafia before.
