MRT operations affected after person jumps on tracks at Guadalupe Station
The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 implemented provisional service on Tuesday afternoon after an unidentified person jumped on the tracks at its Guadalupe Station.
An update from the MRT's Twitter account said one person suddenly jumped on the tracks around 1:52 p.m.
The incident forced the MRT to unload passengers and implement provisional service from North Avenue to Shaw Boulevard station and vice versa around 2 p.m.
The MRT lifted the provisional service and resumed normal operations from North Avenue to Taft Avenue station and vice versa around 2:53 p.m. or an hour after the incident was reported.
