CA okays promotions of Army colonel reservist Mayor Herbert Bautista, 43 others


The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday approved the promotions of several military officers, including Army colonel reservist and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista. 

Bautista, a former actor-turned-public servant, was promoted to Army colonel last January. 

 

 

Aside from Bautista, the promotions of the following general/flag and senior officers were also confirmed by the CA: 

1. Arnold Fernandez - to the rank of Brigadier General

2. Donato San Juan - to the rank of Lieutenant General

3. Ronald Villanueva - to the rank of Major General

4. Bonifacio Cebrian, Jr. - to the rank of Brigadier General

5. Noel Clement - to the rank of Major General

6. William Alunday - to the rank of Brigadier General

7. Noel Buan - to the rank of Brigadier General

8. Mario Lacurom - to the rank of Brigadier General

9. Manuel Trece Robles - to the rank of Brigadier General

10. Yegor Rey Barroquillo, Jr. - to the rank of Colonel, Philippine Army
