Duterte tells children during Boy Scouts event he's willing to kill for them

President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday told children in a Boy Scouts event in Malacañang that he is willing to kill for them.

Duterte told the children, including four-year-olds, in attendance that the government will do everything to protect them from illegal drugs.

“Kayo ang magiging mayor at presidente bukas. Ngayon, dapat gwardyahan ko kayo, talagang mahigpit ako,” Duterte said.

“Sabi nga nila, pumapatay ako ng tao. Talagang pumapatay ako ng tao 'pag ginalaw n'yo ang mga anak namin,” he added.

It was his first speech after being installed as the chief scout of the organization. —ALG, GMA News
