Brunei's Sultan Bolkiah offers flowers at Rizal Monument
Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei paid his respects to Filipino national hero Dr. Jose Rizal at the Rizal Park on Thursday afternoon.
Bolkiah laid a wreath of flowers at the Rizal Monument before proceeding to Malacañang to meet President Rodrigo Duterte.
Heads of state traditionally have a wreath-laying ceremony at the Rizal Monument when they are on official visit in the country.

Bolkiah, who arrived on Wednesday evening, is in the country for a state visit.
