Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte showed off some personal firepower on Instagram amid the ongoing crisis with the Maute group and the implementation of martial law in Mindanao.

Inday Sara posted a Hechler and Koch assault rifle with the caption,"Advised to prepare for everything, I'm going down with this baby."

"Mindanao will never be the same again," said President Rodrigo Duterte's eldest daughter.

The mayor, nonetheless, softened the tone of the post by saying it was just a photo opportunity on her part.

"This is just a photo op. Hahahaha. Don't believe it that much," Inday Sara said.

The Davao City mayor was one of the first to respond to the declaration of martial law in Mindanao by ordering a lockdown in the city and releasing guidelines on how citizens should act under the emergency her father declared. —NB, GMA News
