PNP receives P1.3M worth of equipment from PNP Foundation


The Philippine National Police received on Monday P1.3 million worth of equipment expected to benefit 13 of its offices and units all over the country.

PNP Deputy Director General Ramon Apolinario, deputy chief for administration, received the following items after the flag ceremony:

  • 34 sets of desktop computers;
  • 19 units of printers;
  • Three (3) units of LCD projectors with widescreen;
  • Four (4) units Nikon DSLR cameras;
  • Three (3) units high-speed document scanners;
  • One (1) unit photocopier;
  • Three (3) units wireless routers;
  • One (1) set public address system;
  • One (1) set wireless microphone;
  • One (1) unit four terabyte external hard-drive;
  • 15 units Motorola handheld radio; and
  • 24 units mountain bike

An office from Region 2; four from PRO 4-A; one from PRO 4-B; one from PRO 5; two NCR-based offices; and three National Headquarters offices will receive the donated equipment.

 

 

The donation was made by the PNP Foundation Incorporated (PNPFI) represented by Teresita Ang-See, vice chairperson, and Domingo Yap, member of the board of trustees and president of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc.

The PNPFI is chaired by Senator Panfilo Lacson. —KG, GMA News
