The mother of 17-year-old Kian Loyd Delos Santos on Sunday lamented the police's allegations against her son, who was killed in anti-drug operations in Caloocan City.

Lorenza Delos Santos told GMA News' Katrina Son in an interview on "24 Oras Weekend."

Delos Santos' lament came a day after so-called drug pusher Renato Loberas, alias "Lando," surfaced as the police's witness, alleging that Kian was a drug runner for a certain "Neneng."

Loberas was arrested on August 15, a day before Kian was shot dead by police officers.

He claimed to recall illegal drug transactions with the slain 11th grader.

In the report, Lorenza addressed Loberas, asking him to reveal whoever put him up to testifying against her son.

Dapat ngayon i-tama mo, kasi nakita mong isang inosente 'yung tao. Huwag kayong mag-tago," the mother said.

"Kung sino man 'yung nagpoprotekta sa inyo, sana, malalaki man sila, ituwid niyo lang kung ano 'yung katotohanan," she added.

The teenager's father, Zaldy, claimed that the policemen blindfolded his son before shooting him.

He said the policemen also forced his son to name drug pushers in their area.

Senators, the Commission on Human Rights, the Philippine National Police's Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division, and the PNP-Internal Affairs Service (IAS) have initiated parallel probes into Kian's killing. — Margaret Claire Layug/BM/KVD, GMA News
