Trillanes shows photos of Pulong with Kenneth Dong, Charlie Tan

Senator Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes IV on Thursday presented slides containing photos of Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo "Pulong" Duterte with Kenneth Dong and Charlie Tan before the Senate blue ribbon committee investigating drug smuggling at the Bureau of Customs.

Dong is the alleged middleman for the P6.4-billion shabu shipment that slipped past the BOC last May. Tan is the alleged smuggler.

Dong confirmed to Trillanes that he was indeed the man in the photograph and identified Duterte as one of the men posing with him.

Sebastian "Baste" Duterte was also in several photos, but Trillanes said that he would not be pursuing the connections between him and Dong at this point.

Trillanes prior to the start of the hearing said that he was "excited" to present evidence that would link Duterte and his brother-in-law, lawyer Manases "Mans" Carpio, to the smuggling mess.
