Arzaylea Rodriguez says online convo with Pacquiao ‘unexpected’, denies starting talk

Arzaylea Rodriguez on Thursday denied reports that it was she who started the online conversation with Senator Manny Pacquiao, saying her exchange with the Filipino boxer-turned-politician was unexpected.

Pacquiao had told reporters that he simply came across the 22-year-old's Instagram live and took the liberty of saying "hello."

When was asked if he engaged Arzaylea because she first talked to him, the senator said, "Yes, kinausap niya ako sa live."

Rodriguez on Thursday posted her reply on the video saying "he came into my instagram live very unexpectedly . I definitely didn’t engage in conversation with him first."

Netizens also caught Pacquiao lingering on another young woman's instagram live on September 22.

A screen grab of "Chicks in the Office" intern Maria Ciuffo's Instagram live showed the boxing icon-turned-senator telling her she can "call him anytime".
