Ex-Negros solon who sued Trillanes, Hontiveros gets post as DOLE usec
Former Negros Oriental Representative Jacinto “Jing” Paras has been appointed to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
President Rodrigo Duterte appointed Paras DOLE undersecretary, according to a letter signed on January 23.

Paras is one of the volunteer lawyers of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption who went after perceived political opponents of the Duterte administration such as Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales as well as Senators Risa Hontiveros and Antonio Trillanes IV.
He also filed an impeachment complaint against resigned Commission on Election chairperson Andres Bautista.
