PNP spokesman Carlos is new Aviation Security Group chief

Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Chief Superintendent Dionardo Carlos on Tuesday assumed the leadership of the Aviation Security Group (AVSEGROUP).

PNP chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa led the turnover ceremony held at the AVSEGROUP headquarters in Pasay City.

Carlos replaced Chief Superindent Sheldon Jacaban, who reached the mandatory retirement age of 56.

Jacaban took over the position eight months ago.

Carlos, in his speech, said he will focus on crime, corruption, terrorism and drugs as he asked for the help of the stakeholders.

Dela Rosa said Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao from the National Capital Region Police Office will be the new chief of the PNP-Public Information Office. —ALG, GMA News
