Duterte names new prosecutors, PAO, BIR execs

President Rodrigo Duterte has named new officials for the National Prosecution Service, Department of Agriculture, the Public Attorney's Office, and Bureau of Internal Revenue, according to appointment papers released by Malacañang on Monday. 

Duterte appointed on February 22 Leilanie Corvera-Empeso and Perfecto Lawrence Chua Cheng V as deputy city prosecutor for Butuan City and Quezon City, respectively.

The President also appointed Revelyn Ramos-Dacpano as regional public attorney, replacing Edgardo de Guzman, the former head of the PAO Regional Office in MIMAROPA.

Dacpano was the head of the PAO Executive Support Staff of PAO chief Persida Acosta prior to her appointment.

Jan Steven Dunuan was also named regional public attorney, replacing then PAO Central Luzon head Salvador Hipolito.

The other new appointees are Abilia Bentulan (Bureau of Internal Revenue director) and Isaac Bangcaya (DA director). —NB, GMA News
