PNP reshuffles officers; new CIDG chief named
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has reshuffled some of its officers, installing a new chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), among others.
The director of the PNP Region 3, Chief Superintendent Amador Corpus, was reassigned to lead CIDG, replacing Director Roel Obusan who is set to retire on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Police Chief Superintendent Joel Napoleon Coronel of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) was reassigned as the new chief of PNP Region 3.

Other police officers who were transferred are the following:
- Police Chief Superintendent Dennis Basngi (SAF to NCRPO)
- Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Abu (DHRDD to SAF)
- Police Senior Superintendent Adolfo Samala Jr. (PRO 1 to DHRDD)
