Duterte names new PAF commanding general

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Lieutenant General Rozzano Briguez as the new commanding general of the Philippine Air Force.

In a letter dated December 5, 2018, Duterte informed Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana of the appointment of Briguez.

Briguez will replace Lt. Gen. Galileo Gerard Kintanar, who had opted for early retirement at age 54, according to the Department of National Defense.

In a post on Facebook, Briguez's friends congratulate him for his appointment.
