Duterte signs 15 laws declaring holidays in several towns, provinces

President Rodrigo Duterte has signed 15 laws declaring non-working holidays in several areas in the country.

Copies of the laws, which were all signed on November 9, were released to the media on Thursday.

The list of new holidays is as follows:

• Republic Act 11132 (special non-working holiday in San Fabian, Pangasinan on March 21 of every year for its founding anniversary)
• RA 11133 (special non-working holiday in Claveria, Misamis Oriental on July 22 every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11134 (special non-working holiday in Sagay City, Negros Occidental on June 11 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11135 (special non-working holiday in Davao Occidental province on October 28 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11136 (special non-working holiday in province of Albay and its cities on September 2 of every year in commemoration of the birth anniversary of revolutionary hero Simeon Ola)
• RA 11137 (special non-working holiday in Butuan City on August 2 of every year in commemoration of its charter day)
• RA 11138 (special non-working holiday in Bataan province on January 11 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11139 (special non-working holiday in Catanduanes province on October 26 of every year in commemoration of its foundation day)
• RA 11140 (special non-working holiday in Pasay City on December 2 of every year in commemoration of its foundation day)
• RA 11141 (special non-working holiday in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental on July 1 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11142 (special non-working holiday in Jasaan, Misamis Oriental on September 1 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11143 (special non-working holiday in Opol, Misamis Oriental on June 15 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11144 (special non-working holiday in  Laguna province on June 19 of every year in commemoration of the birth anniversary of national hero Jose Rizal)
• RA 11145 (special non-working holiday in Orani, Bataan on April 21 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary)
• RA 11146 (special non-working holiday in Bacolod City on June 18 of every year in commemoration of its charter day)
