Palace denounces senseless killing of Rep. Batocabe

Malacañang on Saturday condemned the "senseless" killing of AKO Bicol party-list Representative Rodel Batocabe.

In a statement, Presidential Legal Counsel and Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said, "We denounce the senseless killing of Ako Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe in Albay this afternoon."

"Proper authorities are now investigating this brazen murder as we vow to leave no stone unturned in bringing the perpetrators of this felonious act to justice," Panelo added.

Likewise, Malacañang extended its "deep condolences" to the bereaved family of the lawmaker, to his loved ones, as well as his friends and colleagues in Congress. —LBG, GMA News
