Parts of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas to experience 12-hr water cutoff

Some areas in Caloocan, Malabon and Navotas will have no water for 12 hours this weekend, service provider Maynilad Water said Tuesday. In a statement, Maynilad said the service disruption will start at 11:00 p.m., Friday, November 16 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 17. The company said the interruption is due to the replacement of a 600-mm gate valve along Letre Road corner Torres Bugallon, Caloocan City. The areas that will have no water are the following: In Caloocan: Portion of East Grace Park bounded by A. Bonifacio, 5th Avenue, Rizal Avenue and 10th Avenue; Portion of West Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, 10th Avenue, 7th Avenue and PNR Railway; Whole Sangandaan and Libis area bounded by PNR Track, C-3 Road, Libis Talisay and Gen. San Miguel; PNR and DM Compound; Gen. San Miguel and lateral streets; Bisig ng Nayon and lateral streets; P. Aquino and lateral streets; Bisig ng Kabataan and lateral streets; Hizon and Baltazar area. In Navotas: Dagat-Dagatan area, area along Northbay Blvd. and lateral streets, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Brgy. San Rafael, Brgy. Sipak-Almacen, Brgy. San Jose, Brgy. Navotas West/East, Brgy. San Roque, Brgy. Daang Hari, Brgy. Tangos and Brgy. Tanza. Meanwhile, Maynilad said the areas that will have low pressure to no water are: In Caloocan: Portion of East Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, 10th Avenue and A. Bonifacio; portion of West Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, 7th Avenue, PNR Railway and 5th Avenue; and portion of West Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, 10th Avenue, Stotsenberg and Francisco. In Malabon: Portion of Brgy. Tonsuya, Longos and Tanong. "Affected customers are advised to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption.
