Prices of flowers in Dangwa up a day before Valentine's
A day before Valentine's Day, prices of flowers already increased in stalls at Dangwa in Sampaloc, Manila.
According to Vonne Aquino's report on Unang Balita on Wednesday, a bouquet of red roses already costs P1,500 while a dozen ranges from P750 to P800.
"Okay naman po, ma'am... mabenta naman po. Mas mahal po kuha namin sa bulaklak kaya mahal," one vendor said.
A piece of red rose is priced at P100, the report said.
Meanwhile, white roses cost P800 per dozen.
Other flower stalls offer assorted flower bouquets as cheap as P300. Some stores, however, sell bouquets with tulips and ecuadorian roses at P2,500.
Aside from flowers, other Valentine gift ideas include:
- stuffed toys - P400 to P1,200
- balloons - P200
- chocolate bouquet - P600
