Four religious relics arriving in PHL
Four relics that are connected to the life of Jesus Christ are set to arrive in the country on Wednesday afternoon.
According to an Unang Balita report by Darlene Cay, the relics, which came from the cross where Jesus Christ was crucified, the Cave of Nativity, Hail Calvary, and the Pillar of Flagellation, will arrive in Navotas City Hall at past 4 p.m.
A parade will take place to take the relics to San Jose De Navotas Parish Church. It will be followed by a Holy Mass.
"Ito pong relics na ito ay mula po sa Franciscan custody of the Holy Land... Isang napakalaking biyaya na itong relics na ito ay makarating sa atin. Ngayon 'yung Holy Land na mismo 'yung dinala sa atin dito sa Pilipinas," said Angelo Antonio, secretary of the Sto. Niño De Pasion Quasi Parish Church.
The report said the relics would permanently stay at Sto. Niño De Pasion Quasi Parish Church.
Antonio said the relics have certificate of authenticity and seal to prove that they are all genuine. —Anna Felicia Bajo/LBG, GMA News
