5 of 12 injured Batasan blast victims leave hospital - NDCC


Five of 12 injured victims in Tuesday’s explosion at an entrance of the House of Representatives have been discharged from the respective hospitals where they were rushed following the blast. In its update as of 6 a.m., the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) said blast victims Rodolfo Rollente, Allan Mangulabnan, and Frederick del Castillo were all released from the Philippine Heart Center. Paulo Dungca and Patrick Gerald Rosete were also given discharge orders by the Capitol and East Avenue Medical Centers, respectively. “Sixteen casualties were reported with four dead and 12 injured in the bomb explosion at the South Wing Building… Of the 12, five were already discharged from the hospital," NDCC stated. In its update, NDCC said only seven injured victims remain confined, including: • Rep. Luzviminda Ilagan (St. Lukes Medical Center) • Rep. Henry Teves (St. Lukes Medical Center) • Bercita Garcia (St. Lukes Medical Center) • Islael Lim (St. Lukes Medical Center) • Dennis Manila (transferred to St. Lukes Medical Center from Gen. Malvar Hospital) • Larry Noda (St. Lukes Medical Center) • Kimhur Akbar (Capitol Medical Center) - GMANews.TV
