Bets continue ground campaign in the race for the Senate's 12 seats

Candidates continued to be active on the ground -- shaking hands, posing for selfies, engaging people in small talk -- as the campaign period enters its sixth week.

Dan Roleda visited Naga City.  Senator Grace Poe campaigned in Bohol.  Serge Osmena went to General Santos City, where Allan Montano was present on Thursday.

Sonny Matula was in Agusan Del Sur, while Lito Lapid was in Davao earlier.

In Cebu last Tuesday was Juan Ponce Enrile.

Neri Colmenares filed a petition on the power agreements before the Supreme Court on Thursday.

Nancy Binay attended a public consultation in Dumaguete, while Balde Baldevarona was in Basilan.

In a forum in Pasig City were Shariff Albani, Ernesto Arellano, Gerald Arcega, Marcelino Arias, Toti Casino, Leody de Guzman, Elmer Francisco, Ding Generoso, RJ Javellana and Butch Valdes

Earlier in the week, Freddie Aguilar also hit the campaign trail with a visit to Baguio City.

Otso Diretso candidates -- Gary Alejano, Chel Diokno, Samira Gutoc, Pilo Hilbay and Romy Macalintal  -- made the rounds at the public markets in Dumaguete.  Bam Aquino was in Surigao del Sur. 

Erin Tanada spoke before his province mates  in Quezon province.

In Cebu City are Pia Cayetano, Ronald dela Rosa, Jinggoy Estrada, Dong Mangudadatu, Jiggy Manicad, Imee Marcos, Koko Pimentel, Bonge Revilla and Francis Tolentino.
