2018 Bar exam results out May 3

The results of the 2018 Bar examinations will be released on Friday, May 3, the Supreme Court said Wednesday.

Associate Justice Mariano del Castillo, the 2018 Bar chair, will announce the results at the Court’s front yard along Padre Faura Street in Manila, the SC said in a statement.

The total number of Bar candidates, 8,155, is the highest so far in the history of 117 Bar exams held in the country, it said.

After the announcement, the list of successful examinees will be posted at the SC website and its designated mirror sites.

Around a fourth of Bar takers, or 1,724 out of 6,748 candidates, passed the 2017 exam. The top-notcher, Mark John Simondo of Bacolod’s University of St. La Salle, scored 91.05 percent. —Nicole-Anne C. Lagrimas/KBK, GMA News
