Two DLSU-Manila grads share top spot in CPA licensure exams
Two graduates from De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila bested more than 1,600 examinees who passed the Certified Public Accountant licensure examination, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The PRC announced that 1,699 out of 10,319 passed the CPA exam given earlier this month with Josemaria Alvaro Cabarrus Fontillas and Geraldine Jade Frayco Papa sharing the top spot among 15 who made to the top ten list as both got a rating of 89.83 percent.
In second place is Leinard Jan Corres Zaspa from the University of Mindanao-Davao City, third is Eric Saavedra Dolera from Saint Joseph's College-Maasin, in fourth place is Kenneth Ruan Bermuda Lu from La Consolacion College-Manila.
Fifth place is shared by Aren Josue Gavino from Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Main in Sta. Mesa and Jess Charls Pata Mojello from Central Mindanao University while Jacob Cortuna Rizada from the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City made it to sixth place.
Sharing the seventh spot are Allan Labrague Jabinal from Saint Paul School of Professional Studies - Palo, his schoolmate Jomare Maroto Oronos, and Gabriel Retoriano Rentino from Garcia College of Technology.
The rest of the successful examinees who made it to the top ten are Gerald Velasco Salientes (Philippine School of Business Administration-Manila), Kenneth Jay Galasinao Norberte (University of Mindanao-Davao City), Jimwell Inoc Sitoy (University of Cebu in Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue) and Nyll Gabrylle Razonable Gascon (Ateneo de Davao University). — BAP, GMA News
