Imee Marcos on family photo in Malacañang: ‘Posing-posing lang, ‘di kami mananatili doon’

Senator-elect Imee Marcos on Thursday said their recent family photo in Malacañang should not be given any malice.

"Nako posing-posing lang naman 'yun. Hindi naman kami mananatili doon. Talagang posing-posing lang doon sa tatay ko dahil nga nag-oath-taking kami kay President Duterte," Marcos told Dobol B sa News TV.

"As usual may nagbabatikos, may natutuwa," she added.

More than three decades after late strongman Ferdinand Marcos was ousted from power, the Marcos family set foot again in Malacañang to witness the oath-taking of the neophyte senator before President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Marcos family was seen gathered and smiling in front of the portrait of the late former Philippine leader.

Aside from Imee and former First Lady Imelda Marcos, those in the photo were former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and his son Sandro; Irene Marcos-Araneta; and Imee's sons Borgy and Ferdinand Richard Manotoc. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA News
