Some lotto outlets still unable to open for business
Some lotto outlets are unable to resume operations and open for business due to signal issues, the Philippine Online Lottery Agents Association Inc. (POLAAI) said on Wednesday.
We’re still waiting sa signal sa humahawak ng network,” POLAAI chair Nelson Santos said in an interview on GMA News’ Balitanghali.
The PCSO is taking action to fully revive the signal and activate all lotto machines, Santos noted.
The signal for all lotto outlets is expected to fully normalize on Thursday.
Malacañang on Tuesday announced that President Rodrigo Duterte has lifted the suspension order on PCSO’s gaming operation, while an investigation into the alleged corruption in the agency is ongoing.
The investigation emboldened the operators to raise their concerns with the PCSO about getting a higher sales commission.
—Joviland Rita/VDS, GMA News Online
