La Salle execs denounce sedition complaint vs. Chel Diokno, Armin Luistro, others
Top officials of De La Salle Philippines strongly condemned the criminal charges filed against Vice President Leni Robredo and more than 30 individuals in connection to the "Bikoy" narcolist videos.
In a statement, La Salle officials emphasized that Diokno and Luistro are both Lasallians who are at the forefront of the advocacy to uphold human life, dignity and liberty."
"They are merely exercising their freedom enshrined in our Constitution which guarantees "the freedom of speech, of expression, of the press and the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances," their statement read.
"We strongly denounce these charges against them and the leaders of the opposition especially as these are based solely on the affidavit of convicted felon Joemel Advincula," it added.
