Baguio police to bare names of 4 more suspects in PMA Cadet Dormitorio’s death

The identities of four of the eight suspects in the hazing incident that led to the death of a Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadet will be named by the Baguio Police on Monday.

According to a report by Raffy Tima on GMA News TV's Balitanghali, authorities are just waiting for the arrival of Cadet Fourth Class Darwin Dormitorio's family before they disclose the identities of all the suspects to the public.

These eight are composed of seven cadets and one physician who attended to Dormitorio a day before his death and diagnosed him of only having a urinary tract infection.

The police earlier named four suspects — Cadet First Class Axl Rey Sanupao, Cadet Third Class Shalimar Imperial, Cadet Third Class Felix Lumbag, and Captain Flor Apple Apostol of the PMA Station Hospital.

The suspects will be charged for violation of the Anti-Hazing Law and murder.

The death of Dormitorio prompted PMA superintendent Lieutenant General Ronnie Evangelista and PMA commandant of cadets Brigadier General Bartolome Bacarro to resign from their posts. They have since been replaced.

Dormitorio was laid to rest in his hometown of Cagayan de Oro City last week.
