Bong Go’s son places third in CPA exam
The son of Senator Christopher “Bong” Go placed third in this year's Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examinations.
Christian Lawrence Go garnered a score of 89.50%, according to the Professional Regulation Commission.
He graduated summa cum laude from De La Salle University in Manila and was also a gold medalist and a member of Jose Rizal Honors Society.
In a press statement, Senator Go said he cannot describe how happy he is for the achievement of his son.
“I am very proud of my son.
Senator Go also urged the new roster of certified public accountants to use their profession to help the country.
The PRC announced that 2,075 out of 14,492 successfully hurdled the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination administered this month.
Topping the CPA exam is Justine Louie Bautista Santiago, a graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas (UST), followed by University of San Carlos (USC) graduate Malou Borbon Alinsonorin in second place, and Go in the third place. —KG/RSJ, GMA News
