UP Visayas grads dominate Fisheries Technologist Licensure Exams top ten list


At least 731 out of 2,101 passed the Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination administered early this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

The top performing school is the University of the Philippines Visayas in Iloilo with 105 out of 109 students passing the exams or a percentage of 96.33 percent.

Gardel Xyza Sana Libunao, a UP Visayas Iloilo graduate leads the pack in first place with a rating of 89 percent.

Rico Ian Descutido To-ong from Iloilo State College of Fisheries-Main placed second while his schoolmate Robinson Sariego Amihan Jr. is in third place.

UP Visayas graduate Whelver Naldoza Surnido and schoolmate Kim John Napiar Balboa placed fourth and fifth, respectively.

Western Philippines University-Puerto Princesa graduate Nerben dela Rosa Salazar placed sixth.

Sharing the seventh spot are: Dominic Bataga Masecampo of the University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan and Amiel Jay Sayud Socorro of the Mindanao State University-General Santos City.

There are four examinees who made to the top eighth place, and all are from UP-Visayas Iloilo:  Thereze Pauline Venus Genio, Josette Emlen Jamoles Genio, Amethyl Mardin Pernito, and Isidro Calcaben Tanangonan.

In ninth place are: UP Visayas Iloilo graduates Rhiannen Marie Casas Licera and Kal Padernilla Tenizo and University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan graduate Angelica Mae Jagorin Pila.

UP Visayas graduates Therese Flores Javella and Federlia Flor Colon Mero tied in tenth place. — BAP, GMA News
