Police disarm explosive device in Parañaque

Police found and disarmed Thursday night an improvised explosive device (IED) left near the Baclaran Redemptorist Church in Parañaque City. Radio dzBB reported that the IED contained nails as projectiles, but posed no immediate threat, as it cannot be remotely detonated. Investigators said they suspect extortion to be the motive behind the IED, adding it was not the first time an IED was left behind. - GMANews.TV
