Duterte rides motorcycle again
President Rodrigo Duterte once again rode a motorcycle on Sunday evening, days after he skipped visits to earthquake victims in Davao del Sur due to health reasons.
According to Senator Christopher "Bong" Go, Duterte, 74, rode the motorbike for about 15 minutes around 7 p.m.
Duterte's former special assistant, Go said the President could not kick the habit of riding motorcycles. “Hindi na matatanggal,” he said in a message to reporters.
Last October 16, 2019, Duterte sustained some scrapes and bruises following a motorcycle accident inside the Presidential Security Group compound within the Malacañang Complex.
As a result, he had to cut short his trip to Japan where he attended the enthronement ceremony of Emperor Naruhito because of severe back pain, which his doctor said was a case of muscular spasm.
Days later, the President was seen riding a motorcycle again. —KBK, GMA News
