Honasan, Lacson among Cavalier Awardees at PMA Homecoming 2020

BAGUIO CITY - Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) chief Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan and Senator Panfilo Lacson were among the Cavalier Awardees this 2020 Philippine Military Academy Homecoming.

PMA spokesperson Cherryl Tindog on Saturday said Honasan and Lacson were hailed for their services in public administration.

Both belong to PMA “Matatag” Class of 1971.

Aside from the two government officials, other Cavalier Awardees include:

• Cavalier Romeo Acop (public administration)
• Cavalier Ariston Delos Reyes (alumni affairs)
• Cavalier Bernardo Fabula (private enterprise)
• Cavalier Lyndon Cubos (staff functions)
• Cavalier Franco Nemesio Gacal (command and administration)
• Cavalier Joselito Esquivel (police operations)
• Cavalier Charlie Rances (coast guard operations)
• Cavalier Perfecto Magalong (air operations)
• Cavalier Rowan Rimas (naval operations)
• Cavalier Mark Anthony Ruby (army operations)

The PMA leadership had decided to close this year’s alumni homecoming to the public because of the threat of the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease 2019.

The host classes for this year’s homecoming are the classes of 1960, 1970, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015. —LBG, GMA News
