Pinoys commemorate 34th EDSA People Power anniversary
Ceremonies were held at various landmarks in Metro Manila on Tuesday to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the People Power Revolution that toppled the dictatorship of former President Ferdinand Marcos in 1986.
The historical movement that gathered millions of patriots was remembered by officials and representatives from various government agencies as they held solemn rites at the EDSA People Power Monument in Quezon City on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the ceremony held at the Ninoy Aquino monument in Makati City was led by former Vice President Jejomar Binay and former Senator Rene Saguisag.

The local government of Manila also put up streamers to commemorate the peaceful revolution which ushered in a new chapter in the country's political history.
