Gamboa orders latest revamp among key PNP officials

Philippine National Police chief Police General Archie Gamboa has directed a reshuffle of some senior police officials in key positions in the police force.

According to PNP spokesman Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac, Gamboa designated Police Brigadier General Manuel Abu as the director of Police Regional Office in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and Police Brigadier General Bernabe Balba as the chief of Police Regional Office 8.

Balba was then replaced by Police Brigadier General Rolando Miranda as the new chief of the Manila Police District.

Gamboa also named Police Brigadier General Alexander Sampaga as the Director of the Headquarters Support Service while Police Brigadier General Marni Marcos was designated as the Acting Director for Comptrollership.

Meanwhile, Police Colonel Patrick Villacorte was assigned as the Acting Deputy Regional Director for Administration of the Police Regional Office 6.

Gamboa also ordered the designation of Police Brigadier General Ferdinand Divina as the Acting Director for Intelligence along with Police Brigadier General Edgar Monsalve as his Deputy Director. Police Brigadier General Jesus Cambay Jr., meanwhile, was named as the new Director of the PNP Intelligence Group.

Police Brigadier General Danilo Macerin is the new chief of the PNP National Operations Center while Police Brigadier General Florencio Ortilla is the new head of the Regional Staff of the National Capital Region Police Office.

Other police generals installed to new positions were the following:

• Police Brigadier General Robert Rodriguez - Deputy Director for Personnel and Records Management
• Police Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon - Deputy Director for Human Resource Doctrine and Development
• Police Brigadier General Joselito Pajarillaga - Deputy Director for Integrated Police Operations - Northern Luzon
• Police Brigadier General Adolfo Samala Jr. - Deputy Director for Plans
• Police Colonel Belli Tamayo - Acting Executive Officer, DPRM
• Police Colonel Nickson Muksan - Acting Executive Officer, DIPO - Visayas
• Police Colonel Angeles Geñorga, Jr. - Acting Deputy Director, PNP Training Service
