Quezon Institute to receive confirmed COVID-19 cases with mild symptoms

The Department of Health and the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. have agreed to put up a community quarantine facility at the Quezon Institute for confirmed COVID-19 cases who have mild symptoms and those who have none.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said the Philippine Red Cross would also put up tents for persons under investigation with mild symptoms and those who are asymptomatic but need to be monitored.

Vergeire said the facility is expected to receive referrals from rural health units and from hospitals in the National Capital Region next week. -NB, GMA News
