Cops seize boga noisemakers in N Metro

The police in northern Metro Manila seized several boga units or improvised noisemaking devices made from PVC pipes along with replica guns in a series of raids Wednesday night. Radio dzBB reported that many of the boga, which authorities consider illegal and a potential cause of injury, came from "suppliers" and makers in Cavite province. It said many of the boga – which is the Filipino slang for gun – and replica firearms were seized in Valenzuela City. The police said they will turn over the seized devices to the Philippine National Philippine (PNP) facility in Bicutan, where the devices will be destroyed through burning. - GMANews.TV
