PNP bares routes of its Libreng Sakay program this GCQ

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday bared the routes for its "Libreng Sakay" program to ferry commuters amid the general community quarantine in Metro Manila.

According to PNP spokesman Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac, the program is now traversing four routes within Metro Manila and suburbs daily, beginning 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The routes are as follows:

Route 1: Camp Crame to Valenzuela via EDSA and vice versa

  • Crame EDSA Northbound
  • Trinoma
  • Balintawak
  • Monumento
  • Valenzuela

Route 2: Camp Crame to Bacoor Cavite via EDSA and vice versa

  • EDSA Cubao
  • Marikina
  • Antipolo

Route 3: Crame to Bacoor, Cavite via EDSA/Parañaque Service Road and vice versa

  • EDSA South Bound
  • Airport Road
  • Zapote

Route 4: Crame to Valenzuela via EDSA and vice versa

  • Crame Edsa Southbound
  • Ortigas
  • SM Megamall
  • Pasay Rotonda
  • Airport Road
  • Parañaque
  • Zapote, Bacoor Boundary

Earlier, the PNP added 12 buses and troop carrier trucks to provide free transportation for the public.
