CSC cancels all written service exams for 2020


The Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Thursday announced that it will not hold any more written career service examinations for 2020 due to the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

 

 

In accordance with social distancing measures, prohibition on mass gatherings, and the limited public transportation, the following tests scheduled on June 21 have been cancelled:

  • Fire Officer Examination
  • Penology Officer Examination
  • Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination

Meanwhile, tests scheduled on August 9 which have been cancelled are:

  • Career Service Examination-PPT (Professional)
  • Career Service Examination-PPT (SubProfessional)

October 11 examinations which were cancelled are:

  • Intermediate Competency on Local Treasury Examination
  • Pre-Employment Test
  • Promotional Test
  • Ethics-Oriented Personality Test

The CSC also said that the Professional and Subprofessional CSE-PPT initially scheduled on March 15, with an estimated total of 293,845 participants, will be reset for 2021.
