RTVM office closed for 2 weeks due to COVID-19 cases
The office of the Radio Television Malacañang has been placed on a two-week lockdown after two of its personnel contracted COVID-19, the agency said on Monday.
RTVM said its office inside the Malacañang Complex will be closed from July 28 to August 11 to give way for decontamination, sanitation, continuation of contact-tracing activities, and the conduct of confirmatory tests.
Only select personnel will be allowed to cover presidential coverages for the meantime while support to non-presidential coverages will only be done remotely or virtually.
Other employees identified to be primary contacts of confirmed cases were scheduled to undergo swab testing and will be on mandatory quarantine. The rest of the RTVM employees will be on a work-from-home arrangement.
The agency also said no documents will be received and/or released in its Manila office and no other coverage requests and/or transactions will be entertained during the entirety of the 14-day closure.
