DOH to release COVID-19 case report late on Monday due to system error
The Department of Health (DOH) will release its daily report on COVID-19 in the country around 8 p.m. today, or four hours later than its regular schedule of 4 p.m., due to system error.
In a statement, the DOH said that the system error resulted in non-inclusion of new COVID-19 cases in the COVIDKAYA-extracted database.
“The problem has been addressed but it entails additional time to process the recently extracted data. Today’s Daily Case Bulletin will be released at 8 p.m.,” the DOH said.
“We are investigating the root cause in the system and will ensure that measures are in place to avoid this incident in the future,” it added.
The Philippines has recorded 129,913 COVID-19 cases thus far. Of this number, 67,675 have recovered while 2,270 died.
The number of active COVID-19 cases is at 59,968. —Llanesca T. Panti/KBK, GMA News
