PNP reports 56 new COVID-19 cases; total at 3,276

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) increased to 3,276 on Saturday after 56 more personnel tested positive for the illness.

Seventy-four more patients have also recovered from the illness, bringing the total to 2,428, while the number of fatalities remained at 15.

At present, the PNP has reported a total of 2,684 suspect and 764 probable cases.

PNP personnel experiencing symptoms similar to COVID-19 were advised to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

The Philippines reported a total of 187,249 COVID-19 cases with 114,921 recoveries and 2,966 fatalities.  — DVM, GMA News
